A First Dance Wedding Song (Two Little Words)

A First Dance Wedding Song (Two Little Words)
When I first sat down three years ago to write my first wedding song for my son’s wedding I had no idea that my career would take off like it did.
My youngest son was married in June 2006. I just started writing music and thought I could write our mother/ son wedding song for the two of us to dance to. I sat down to write the lyrics and they flowed flawlessly. The emotion and love I felt for him brought the lyrics effortlessly. I wanted to focus on his wedding day with his new bride and their future together. When we danced to it on his wedding night I couldn’t hold my tears back, the lyrics said it all. How I felt about him as a man and how much I loved him. When our guests heard the song, there was not a dry eye in the house, young or old, male or female. I was proud of that moment with my son and the man he had become.
About a year later I released a father/daughter wedding song titled, I’ll Always Be Your Daughter. The CD’s are selling very well for both songs.
In May 2009, I released my new song, A First Dance Wedding Song (Two Little Words). The response has been overwhelming. I focused on what the bride wanted to say to her groom and what the groom wanted to say to his bride. The lyrics express what their feelings are for each other and how they found their perfect sole mates.
Here are the lyrics
A First Dance Wedding Song (Two Little Words)
BRIDE VERSE 1:
You are the man, to keep me warm at night
Baby, hold me tight
You are the man, who loves me as I am
You’re my best friend
As my love for you grew
There was no one else for me but you
BRIDE CHORUS:
When I said those two little words, I meant them from my heart
As I looked in your eyes, I knew it was the start
Of a lifetime, with deep passion and truth, two little words from me to you
Two little words, for two people in love
I do
GROOM VERSE 2:
You are the woman, to share my life
It feels so right
You are the woman I care for & love
That I dream of
Now I understand
That loving you makes me a better man
GROOM CHORUS:
When I said those two little words, I meant them from my heart
As I looked in your eyes, I knew it was the start
Of a bond blessed from above, two separate lives, united as one
Two little words for two people in love
I do
BRIDGE:
As we dance tonight/we celebrate - (sung by bride)
A true love that comes/once in a life - (sung by groom)
Two little words we/promised today - (sung by bride)
Starts our journey as/husband & wife - (sung by both)
(Bride) Two little words for (Groom) two people in love
I do
Two little words, that say I love you, I do
Congratulations to all the brides, grooms, their family and friends on a very special day.

A Case Study on Choosing Wedding Invitation Vendor
Couples nowadays are paying more attention to the wedding invitation. It is very true that the invitations are very important although the cost of them will only be a fraction of your other wedding items. As a result, you will need to choose the vendor carefully. You should never choose based merely on the price of then. Here is a case study about choosing wedding invitations and you should be able to learn something from this case study.
There was a couple who was trying to search for some vendors of wedding invitations on the internet. They would like to put their portraits on the cards. As a result, they tried to search for that and they had eventually found a company which would help them to draw the portraits as well as print the invitations.
The shop was not an online shop. The couple decided to discuss with the shop and as a consequence they made an appointment with the shop and visited the shop one day. To their surprise, they found that it was not really a shop or an office. The owner of the business was renting a table from another shop and started the business.
Although the couple found that it was a bit strange, they still decided to give it a try. It was because there was a full money back guarantee. And there was also a 30% discount. This was really attractive because wedding is something very expensive.
However, there were a lot of problems after they had paid the deposit. When they received the email about the invitation design from the shop, they found that the portrait was not drawn according to their photos. It was just the same as other designs from the shop. At this point, the couple remembered that there was a full money back guarantee and they asked for a refund.
The shop owner lost temper when the couple asked for the refund. Though the couple could get the refund after discussing with the owner for a few times, they have already wasted some time. The experience was really bad!
From the above case study, you will probably understand that why it is so important to choose a good wedding invitation vendor. The point here is that you should never trust the vendor if they can give you a discount which is too good to be true. No company will give such a discount if they have the confidence in their work!
I myself have a friend who works as a wedding invitation designer. As far as I know, she will never give discount to the clients. This is because she has full confidence in her work and she understand that her works are worth the price.
Of course you should trust the designer or vendor when you order from them. However, you still have to be very careful. The best situation is that you can gather some information about the reputation of the company. Though it will require you to spend some time, it will be better than having a bad experience after you have ordered!

Benefits
Naturally, blank invitations are easy to use. Even if the couple makes a choice of a cheap wedding invitation card, they have to wait till a proof copy is printed, and only then can they order the rest of the invitations.
There are other obvious benefits of blank invitations, and the most obvious one is that the couple can personalize their invitations quickly and choose their own terms of style and wording on the wedding invitation. This is ideal for couples who do not want conventional events and want to remain unique and modern.
All couples today have access to sophisticated printers, which can create amazing invitations resembling the look of professionally printed wedding invitations. It is possible for many couples to create very attractive invitations which are perfectly suited to their celebration and costing much less.
Designs
For a cheap blank wedding invitation there are hundreds of different designs available. The cards can be of different shapes like slim, square, rectangular, or pocket fold which can be printed at home. The most popular colors are white and ivory, but the availability of blank invitations has diversified to shades of green chocolate, burgundy, black, red or blue.
Paper
The cheap blank wedding invitation paper could be just cardstock. If it is handmade paper, or metallics and vellum overlays, the cost of the invitation goes up. There can be designed motifs on the blank invitations like flowers, abstract patterns or any images related to wedding.
Cheap blank wedding invitations could also be some nontraditional types of wedding invitations which do not necessarily have wedding designs. For example, if the invitations are for a beach wedding, the couple can use beach party invitations.
The widest range of cheap blank wedding invitations and kits is available online through various retailers. Large discount stores offer them and some stores which sell office supplies or party material have a varied collection. The blank invitations are definitely much cheaper than the engraved invitations from a designer stationery firm.
When creating your own invitations, the more extras you add to it, the cost of the invitation goes up. But at the same time, it is these extras like a pressed flower or an embossed seal, which add sophistication and beauty to the complete invitation.

Wedding Favors That Favor Your Mind
True, planning a wedding is no easy feat. It entails a lot of patience, creativity, and time - not to mention money. Because of this, couples delegate a large portion of the wedding planning to the professionals. Tasks such as wedding favors and wedding decoration - Toronto or elsewhere - are taken off of the couple's shoulders and given to wedding planners.
But as the ultimate approving body of your wedding, you need to have a hand on things. It is YOUR wedding, after all. It is just proper that you be given the full control on things.
This kind of control extends even to the minutest of details - such as wedding favors. But in a world full of ideas, how do you choose your wedding favors? Here are a few suggestions.
Theme It!
Most weddings have themes. So if yours is one that follows a theme, make sure that your favors, and even your wedding flower - Toronto or from other city - are in line with such a theme. A beach wedding, for example can have wedding favors that go from simple seashells to intricately designed memoirs.
By keeping your favors in line with the theme of your wedding, you are making sure that your whole ceremony speaks of only one story - and a coherent one at that. This makes it easier for your guests to remember this very important day.
Budget-Wise
Usually, low budget weddings require inexpensive favors. But sometimes, even if you have the money to spend on these wedding favors, it is way more reasonable and more practical to choose inexpensive ones.
If you and your groom have the time to create the favors yourselves, then do so. This way, you only get to pay for the materials. Moreover, your giveaways will be more meaningful - as they are hand-made by the couple.
Personalize
There's nothing more special than personalized wedding favors. These favors are your way of etching your wedding details (your names, date and venue of your wedding) in the face of the Earth. You're sure that you won't be forgotten by your guests.
Try going for candies that can have your picture and wedding details printed on them. Today, there are a lot of candy manufacturers who accept this kind of order. Mind you, these personalized candies do not only serve as wedding favors, but as appetizers too! Talk about hitting two birds with one stone, huh?
Personalizing wedding favors could also go a different direction. If you are not short on cash, you can give out personalized bridesmaid gifts as well. For instance, you can give them personalized bridesmaid frames, engraved jewelry boxes and glass photo vases. Personalizing their gifts is your way of thanking your bridesmaids for the time and effort that they've showered on you and your whole wedding preparation.
There you have it, three things to keep in mind when choosing your wedding favors. These favors are not compulsory to a wedding. But if you have the time to plan for them and you have the money to buy them, why should you let the opportunity pass by? You will only have one wedding in your lifetime - hopefully - so you should make the most out of it.

Integrating Your Wedding Color Scheme into Your Wedding Invitations
Choosing wedding invitations is often the first decision that the prospective bride and groom make together about their wedding. Sitting down together to design and choose your wedding invitations can be surprisingly exciting. It is the first “real” evidence that you really are getting married. Choosing your wedding invitations is also an opportunity to see your wedding colors together and establish a theme for your wedding.
Modern and contemporary wedding invitations offer more options for customization than ever before. Not too long ago, your wedding invitation choices were limited. You could choose from two color choices, which were white and ivory. Black ink was the only color available for text of the invitation. The most traditional wedding invitations offered no real decoration even though there were many invitations with embossed or imprinted wedding designs and borders.
Over the past thirty years, that has changed greatly as contemporary wedding publishers have introduced wedding invitations that feature colors, themes, designs and embellishment designed to attract and please new generations of brides and grooms who wanted more choices. Today’s contemporary wedding couple can choose from invitations that are printed in many colors, or that feature designs and themes that coordinate with your wedding event. If you are planning a wedding and choosing invitations, these are just some of the ways that you can integrate your wedding colors and themes into your wedding planning from the very start.
Choose wedding invitations that feature your chosen colors.
Printed wedding invitations come in a large variety of styles and colors. The colored printing ranges from simple borders to full color photographic backgrounds. You can choose wedding invitations that are printed on colored paper backgrounds, or backed with a colored card backer. To make it even easier for you, some wedding providers offer fully coordinated colors that run through everything from your invitation to your flower girl’s dress.
Many wedding companies have a suite of colors that have been carefully matched so that you can easily order invitations, accessories, bridesmaid dresses, and even accessories for your wedding reception. This can help increase your confidence that everything is going to match. If you have chosen to have your bridesmaids all wear a dress with a Cornflower sash, you can order your invitations with a Cornflower envelope liner and know that the color is an exact match.
If you choose invitations with a printed design, you may often have a choice of several different color combinations. One popular style, American Dream, features a bold design of pansies against a white background. The pansies design is available in blue, tangerine, apple, and sangria. Those same colors are available throughout the manufacturers’ designs in wedding and bridesmaid dresses, decorations, shoes, and accessories for the wedding day so that you can have a completely coordinated wedding day.
Add embellishments to your wedding invitations that match your wedding colors.
Besides choosing invitations that are pre-coordinated to match with your wedding party, you can also choose to design your own invitations and add embellishments. Design your own and do-it-yourself wedding invitations give you many different options for customizing your invitations with your wedding colors. There are some excellent reasons why you would want to do that. Remember that there is more to your wedding stationery than just your actual invitations. Your stationery suite also includes items like place cards and table cards that should coordinate with your invitations and thank you notes. Having them all match with your wedding colors can help your wedding color scheme to carry through from the invitation to the thank you note.
When you design your own wedding invitations through an online wedding vendor, you should have many options that you can customize with your wedding colors. You can choose invitations that incorporate your wedding colors in many different ways. You may be able to choose from
- paper colors for the invitation itself
- ink colors for the printing on the invitation
- ink colors for the border or design print
- accent colors for a design element or monogram on the invitation
- envelope color for the inner or outer envelope
- envelope liner color in a solid color, foil or coordinating print
- colored invitation sleeves to enclose your invitation
- colored ribbons or bows to embellish your invitation
- colored backers to place behind your invitation in your choice of accent color
Keep in mind when choosing colors for your wedding invitations that less can sometimes be better. Before you order a complete wedding stationery ensemble, ask for a sample proof in your chosen colors so that you can decide if you like the effect of all the colors together. Other options to consider are do it yourself invitations. Although these require extra work, they can be well worth it since you have full control of what the invitations look like.

How To Make Wedding Memories Last Forever
You have spent months planning your wedding, endless hours and more money than perhaps you want to think about. So how can you ensure that all of those efforts are eloquently captured for life? Here are a few simple strategies to ensure one of the most important days in your life is appropriately saved for future remembrance.
Obviously every wedding couple ensures that memories are stored forever with photographs. What you do with those precious photos can vary greatly---do they end up in the back of some storage closet or are they displayed for all to enjoy. We prefer the later so we have found creative and unique ways to make your display tasteful and elegant.
Create a photo album. With the advent of scrapbooking and its evergrowing popularity, photos have been transformed into publication quality books. You can be as creative or simple as you please. One of the really unique things about a scrapbook is that it allows for more than just photos. You can also put memorable souvenirs from the wedding such as napkins, invitations, menus, or anything you want. Also, you can chronicle any time period you want. You can start at the engagement and move through the honeymoon or create separate scrapbooks for each event. Scrapbooks are nice because they can tell a story with pictures.
A more simplistic approach is what has been coined by Bride Magazine as the "Coffee-Table" book. It is similar to a photo album but sticks primarily with photos and a few captions.
Another option is the shadow box. It is more easily displayed but does not have the space to hold as much as the scrapbook. These are easy to find and very easy to create.
A final option is the memory box. This is good because it hold lots of items and works well for the bride who doesn't really have time to spend putting the previous things together. The downfall is that it isn't as easily displayed and is often forgotten about and put into storage.
Some tips on things to keep from you wedding or events leading up to it include: invitations to showers and the wedding, thank you card, wedding program or menu, any ribbon or decoration, a flower that can be dried, hair accessories, or your garter. Of course you can keep anything that has significance to you but these are a few ideas. The important thing is that the way in which you choose to cherish the memories truly reflects how special of a day your wedding was.

Wedding Invitations That Are Inexpensive But Elegant
There are a lot of things you should do in order to make your wedding unique. You will also want to make it special for your guests as well. In fact, you are trying to do so so that your guests can remember it for years. Yet, it is also very true that a unique event can be very expensive. The rent for the reception hall can be very expensive. You may also need to spend a lot of money on the bridal dresses. In fact, another item that can be quite expensive will certainly be the wedding invitations.
You may think that the wedding invitations will not cost you too much. This is very true that the total cost of them should not be a lot compared to your total budget. Top Five Beach Wedding Destinations
Weddings are undoubtedly the most memorable event for anyone. This is the one day that the happy couple finally seal their love for each other and look forward to many lasting years together. However, I am a realist and realise that this is unfortunately not always the case for some people. The wedding celebration is still remembered and this is the part the matters the most. A wedding ceremony is a celebration of a union of a couple in love, and the celebration can either be held in a traditional church or be barefoot on the beach of a Caribbean resort.
Beach weddings are probably the most popular and romantic way to celebrate two people uniting. For some this could be a dream come true, yet others prefer to stay indoors for a wedding keeping their garments clean and sand free. However, for me a wedding is celebrated in a way that the couple and the guests will remember for a long time. Therefore, the first most important decision to make is whether to have the wedding in warm Caribbean resort or closer to Europe on the Spanish holiday beach. The following are my top five beach wedding destinations, judged on by the aesthetic appeal of the area and its popularity.
At fifth place, I believe is a beautiful historical country, famous for its vineyards and relaxed warm climate. It is of course Tuscany, Italy. This is an ideal place for people looking to marry a little closer to home, with a touch of class and surrounding mountainous scenery. The cuisines are simple and exquisite. The greenery around are lush yet act as a blank canvas, free for you to be as creative as you like with your special day.
Fourth place would be the beautiful and ever popular Caribbean resort islands. The sands are almost crisp white and the ocean is as deep blue as they are portrayed in most films. The Caribbean islands are reputed to have the best service for all sized parties, full diverse guest list, personalised wedding planning agents and colourful exotic foods. The weather is warm most of the year so there is no worry of rainfall.
In third place is the ever more relaxing Maui in Hawaii. This is a very popular and old favourite for weddings, however it is not just the beaches that entice the couple to be hitched, it is the option of marrying on a plantation estate that provides a truly luxurious celebration. Add to that the option of sunrise nuptial or even go mad to wed on top of the Haleakala crater!
Second place falls to Riviera Maya in Mexico. Even though this great for a relaxing holiday, this also remains a popular destination for walking up the aisles with flowers in your hair. Mexico not only offers the stunning beaches, but there are numerous villas that make it possible to opt for a lavish indoor wedding, topped with spicy Mexican cuisine and a delightful traditional band.
Finally, my top beach wedding destination is Montego Bay, Jamaica. This is diverse in its guests list, allows ample creativity in the theme of your ceremony (namely bright, musical and colourful designs). The beach weddings attract friendly locals and can range from casual beach parties to elegant plantation celebrations. Add to this the wonderful light cuisines and the brilliant dancing, you will fulfil your dream of having a memorable day.

Maltese Wedding Traditions
Canada hosts many races of people among them are the Maltese. These people from the republic of Malta reside in Canada because of migration that took place in the mid-nineteenth century when Malta was a British colony. The Maltese still maintain their traditions in most of their occasions and behaviour. They refer to their customs as il-ġilwa. Among these occasions are the Maltese weddings, which take place as the do in Malta. These preserve Maltese culture in the cuisines that are offered, the dressing, the entertainment and the language. Though these Maltese live in a Canadian community, they practice most of the Maltese culture. Most of the Maltese cuisines are prepared the Mediterranean way like the food that is prepared for weddings in Malta.
The wedding procession in a Maltese wedding is led by the bride and groom followed by the rest of the bridal party consisting of the bride's relatives and the singers behind them. The procession moves from the bride's home to the church where the religious part of the wedding takes part. Most of the Maltese are Catholics thus the wedding takes place at the parish church. The bride and groom walk under a special ornate canopy that is carried by four men each holding one corner of the square canopy. The bride wears a wedding gown that is called a għonnella, which is the traditional wedding gown that the bride wears. Those who hold tightly to tradition practice this culture. Some of the Maltese people prefer conducting a wedding ceremony at the church without the additional spicing up of a traditional wedding gown and the canopy.
The Canadian Maltese weddings are characterized by a ceremony at the chapel, which is later followed up by an extensive wedding reception with variety of food, a motorcade of the bridal party that consists of flashy cars like limousines and beautifully designed wedding reception venues like at hotels. They have a wedding DJ who plays the Maltese music but also blends with some of the modern Canadian wedding music. The Maltese music is called għana and it involves dancing.
There has been a decrease in the application of the Maltese culture mostly by the Canadian Maltese because as much as they would like to preserve the tradition, the process comes along with high cost. Since most of the people are inclined to having an exceptional occasion without spending a lot, most of the Maltese prefer having a Canadian wedding and incorporating only what is available that matches the weddings in Malta. This is a good way of appreciating the Maltese tradition and most of the older Maltese residents in Canada insist on their families applying the Maltese culture to avoid its disappearance. This includes the older Maltese suggesting Malta as a honeymoon destination for the newly weds. This ensures that the couple learns more of the Maltese culture like methods of cooking, important beliefs and religious practices in addition to touring beautiful sites that are found in Malta. Through this, Maltese wedding traditions are preserved.

Wedding Bands North East, Tips For Planning Your Wedding Evening Celebrations
When you begin planning your wedding in the North East of England there are some things you should sort out right away. The most obvious one is to set the date. You are no doubt planning well ahead so try to pick a date that is not going to clash with other important dates in the calendar either personal or national. For instance it is best to avoid dates which are anniversaries of the death of a close family member, you don't want your future mother-in-law weeping at the altar for the wrong reasons! Also avoid major holidays like Easter or New Year as, although your prospective guests may not be working, they may well have other plans. Nowadays it's quite easy with the aid of Google etc. to check whether your chosen date might clash with major sporting events like the Cup Final of the opening of the Olympics, if your fiance is a big rugby fan, check for major international matches.
The next job is to book those things which can only accept one booking per day. The two most obvious of these are the venue for your reception and the entertainment for the evening. If you have your heart set on a particular venue, get it booked right away, particularly if you want the place to yourself. It's much nicer to be the only wedding party in a venue rather than be in a large hotel with 4 or 5 function rooms operating simultaneously.
If you are planning an evening party which most good venues want you to have and which has become a standard part of the wedding day, you'll need some entertainment. Whilst many venues have their own DJ or ones that they recommend, many are not very entertaining and there is nothing more embarrassing than a newly wed couple staring at an empty dance floor whilst most of their guests have gone off to the bar. The best way to prevent that happening is to hire a good north east wedding band . They will entertain all of your guests young and old and get them dancing all night to a wide selection of music which spans the past 60 years of popular music.
When you start your search for your wedding band north east you need to have some points you are going to look for. The basic ones are:
1. Are they an established band or have they just started out? If they are well established and have been around a few years, the chances are that they will be able to cope with most situations that could arise. If they are new to the business their inexperience will show up on your wedding night.
2. Does their repertoire look like the kind of music you want to hear at your wedding or does it look like they are going to play music that only they want to hear. You need a band that will get all your guests on the dance floor and keep them there.
3. How much do they charge? Most good bands won't quote a set price on their website, because it will depend on several factors: date and venue being the main ones. Do bear in mind that playing for your wedding is usually the equivalent of a full day's work, so if you are employing professional musicians - and you should be - don't expect them to work for less than any other highly skilled worker would.
3. What will they wear? You don't really want your entertainment for your most special day to turn up in tee shirts and jeans do you?
4. Are they available for your date? This should really be the first thing to ask as; if they are not available you need discuss it no further.
5. Will they learn your 1st dance song for you or at the very least arrange to play a CD of it if they can't perform it live.
However daunting this all may sound, rest assured that it is well worth the effort to find a suitable live band as it will make your evening celebrations just that, a celebration.

Creating A Wedding Ceremony Timetable
Planning a wedding can be both an overwhelming and exciting challenge. There are so many details to think about, from the wedding invitations to choosing a wedding videography studio. There is a never ending list of things to do right from the moment your fiancé proposed to you. It usually takes months or possibly years to plan and organize a wedding. There are a lot to accomplish in just little time but still every detail should be perfect.
To complete everything you planned for your wedding it is important for you to create a timetable. Following a timetable will be able to help the wedding day to go smoothly as possible. Every wedding is different so a timetable should be customized to each individual situation. The arrangements for large formal weddings begin as soon as the wedding day is set. Here are a few basic guidelines you can consider in making your own wedding ceremony timetable.
Three hours before the wedding, the bride and her bridesmaids should arrive at the church. They should begin putting on make up, curl their hair and put on their gowns. This will take about an hour.
Two and a half hours to two hours, the florist should arrive with the flower arrangements. This will include the bride's bouquet, the corsages, flower girl's baskets and boutonniere's. This is also the time when the groom, his parents and the ushers will arrive. The ushers are in charge of pinning the corsages to the groom's parents, bride's parents and other honored guests. The flowers will be distributed to the bridesmaids and flower girls.
Taking pre wedding photographs have become popular. This is done once everybody in the wedding entourage is ready. This usually starts two hours prior to the ceremony.
After completing the pre wedding photography session approximately an hour before the ceremony, the bride and her entourage will take this opportunity to freshen up and retouch their make up. It is a good idea to offer snacks in the dressing but remember to avoid food that may possibly stain the dresses.
An hour before the wedding, it is the ushers job to direct the guests to their seats.
The pianists will begin the prelude to the wedding march as the guests arrive about twenty minutes before the wedding.
Fifteen minutes before the ceremony, check if every wedding participant is ready.
At about ten minutes, the groom's parents are escorted to their seats immediately followed by the bride's mother.
Finally the ceremony is about to start. The carefully chosen music for the wedding march will begin. Candle lighters will slowly light each candle down the aisle and proceed to take their seats. The officiating minister, groom and the best man take their places at the front of the altar.
The wedding entourage starts their walk with the flower girls leading the way. They will be followed by the ring and bible bearers with the bridesmaids close at hand. The maid of honor will be the last person to walk down the aisle as the pianist change the music for the bride's entrance. Everybody will stand up in honor of the bride.
No matter how you organize your timetable, it really depends on your priorities. If you decide on having a wedding videography and photography session before the wedding, it is advisable to arrive at the church ahead of time to avoid delays on the actual ceremony. Careful arrangement and scheduling will allow you to truly enjoy every minute of your wedding day.
