Criminal Check…?
A friend of mine is looking for jobs to become a nanny. I know most families ask for a background/criminal check on the nanny, but is it ok for the nanny to ask for a check on the potential family?

You can go to any notary with your criminal check and at least one form of ID. They will sign and stamp for you easy. Banks almost always have a notary on staff… I doubt that the police department would.

A US citizen with a criminal record can sponsor a spouse. The citizen’s name will be run through the system, and as long as he or she has no ties to immigration fraud or terrorism, it should have no effect on the outcome. An exception would be the “Adam Walsh” law. Under that law, if the citizen has been convicted of any kind of child abuse, he will not be allowed to bring any minor into the US.

How can I do a criminal check for prospective renter?
I’m renting a beautiful home in a rural area of Oregon. To be safe about the prospective tenant, I would like to do a criminal check. How do I go about doing this?

There are several websites that give this imformation. A criminal check doesn’t cost that much. We use “Lexes Nexis” program, It gives us all the imfo. we need.

How do I get a criminal check notarized and an apostille seal?
I have to have my criminal check notarized and sealed. I already got my criminal check, but it is not notarized. Usually, do police departments notarize criminal checks they issue, or what should I do?

Does immigration make the usa citizen get a criminal background check?
Does immigration make the usa citizen get a criminal background check.
If someone is legally in usa on a work visa and meets someone they want to marry who is usa citizen? Both people are in usa now. I know if the usa citizen wants to sponsor someone who is abroad then they have to get a criminal check. But both people are currently in usa
I want specific people who know about this or have direct experience.
