Not that I can see. The main focus of most sites seems to be running criminal checks on potential employees or checking credit rating for loan customers. The information these services provide may still be useful though.
Criminal background check makes perfect sense, but the financial one? Hopefully you just mean to find out if he has a bad habit of defaulting on bills. Most guys wouldn’t be terribly happy if a woman checked out how much they earn before asking them to move in

How do I go about getting a comprehensive credit & background check on someone??
My boss needs me to find a reliable service that will provide an in depth credit, criminal & background check on someone. Any suggestions? All the places I’m finding online don’t offer what I need….

Individuals having Yankee White clearances undergo extensive background investigation. Yankee White-cleared personnel are granted access to any information for which they have a need to know, regardless of which organization classified it or at what level. The Yankee White clearance includes requirements for U.S. citizenship and unquestionable loyalty to the United States. Some sources assert that these clearances require that cleared personnel not be and not have been married to a person of foreign descent and not to have traveled to countries unfriendly to the U.S.

I don’t think that just anyone should be able to obtain a background check on any individual that they deem necessary. I certainly don’t want anyone other than an employer checking out my background and I don’t have anything to hide. I’ve never been arrested, never even had a speeding ticket but it’s the whole concept that someone would even want to snoop in someone elses personal business for no good reason. You are certainly on point when you mentioned that if a background check is being conducted on you, you should have some info on the requestor such as:the persons name, address, reason for the request along with a background check on the requestor.

Are there any online sites that are specifically geared towards women who want to do background checks on men?
I want to do a comprehensive background (criminal & financial) check on my boyfriend before I ask him to co-habitate. This is mostly for my mother’s peace of mind as she recently found out a relative’s live-in boyfriend was battering her. I had hoped to do a background check through amw.com, but can’t seem to find any information on their site on how to do so.

What sorts of checks are involved in the so called “most comprehensive background check run by the federal government” and what sort of qualifiers are needed to pass. I’m wondering if I have any hope of working in a major executive office in the future or whether I should focus my efforts elsewhere. Thanks.

a criminal record is public record granted, however for the most part nosey want to knows are limited to the avilability of information just because they want to check. I see several internet companys offering comprehensve public record checks on anyone for a fee. If our privacy is to be sold publicly have we not the right to know whom is buying it, and should we not be notified free of charge when a request has been made. Credit checks can not be handed out to anyone we have not given permission to access information via some form of transaction.

this may not be criminal per say, the requestor may think they are digging dirt that does not exsist, however in these comprehensive background checks are other personal information that nine out of ten times the requestor has no bussines knowing.
Perhaps the person being investigated should also in addition to being notified, receive a complete background check on the person inquiring
Interesting some of the answers I’ve received on this topic, for those that are adamant that they have the right to do this I ask; if I am not involved in some sort of employment agreement with you or have some sort of personal dealing with you allowing you access to this information what right have you to it? Are you stalking me? Obtaining information to steal my identity? Looking for something to extort me? Afraid to just ask me? Or just plain nosey? Demand that laws be in-acted to protect your personal information from this type of anonymous access, write your congressmen now.

There are some on-line sites that do it, but for good information you can expect to pay a few hundred dollars. The other on-line sites simply pull public information already available on the internet. But many government agencies are not wired up for such assess. You may think you have all of the info, but you are missing tons!
