Is there a list of criminal charges?
I’m really interested in reading all of the interesting charges and I was wondering if there was a site that listed all of the criminal charges and descriptions of them. I found one a few years ago but I can’t find it now.

Pick a state, All have different names and numbers for many charges.
Now go to google and put in the state followed by the words “criminal code” you will find a number of links to the state’s criminal code or charges as you call them. You now have the list for the state, with a definition and sentencing guidelines for each crime.
This one of the way we use the internet.

There are very few sites for pending criminal charges, if any.
Some newspapers publish court records, including arraignments, and you may want to go to the website for the city or town newspaper the individual may have been arrested or charged in.

Nope. There is no such thing as free. You could call your local sheriff’s dept. and they may tell you if it’s you. If you have a cop as a friend, they could find out for ya.

Where can I find a list of criminal charges in VA?
If it had a sentence for each charge would be even better.
What I would like to know is what can a person be charged with, for instance if trying to kill someone what can he be charged with i/e attempted murder, attempted manslaughter (?), attempted homicide (?), assault with intent to kill etc.
Also, what the sentence would be would be great.
Thanks,
