I didnt know Jessica Mauboy was a Knights fan, she is officially my future wife lol The Jets are poofs, they need to start paying up so Knights can keep their ground. I’m praying it gets sorted out, Knights need to play at Energy to keep up their spirits & win games..

My brakes shuddered and I’ve had a minor accident, is it possible to get compensation from Citroen?
I have a 2001 Citroen C5 wagon.
Yesterday I was going down a slight hill and I had to brake immediately, my brakes shuddered and I could feel this through the steering wheel.
I gave it a good 3-4 metres to stop, but the car kept rolling forward, though the speed was reduced, it was still moving, I swerved to minimise damages, and I got away with a scraped side panel and a blown headlight.
I also had a brakes servicing a week before, however the Citroen cars are known to have braking issues. I had my brakes serviced at a general auto shop in Strathfield, NSW.
However Citroen brakes requirer a special tool to have brakes serviced.
Who is REALLY at fault?
Can I claim compenstation or some sort of investigation?
It was pretty scary when it happended…like an F**** car that couldn’t stop.
cheers
Dan

Newcastle Knights To Be ‘Booted’ From Energy Australia Stadium?
The owners of the stadium (being the NSW government) claim that the Knights owe them more that $800,000. But the Knights are refusing to pay and instead claim Hunter Venues owe them more than $1 million for maintenance and compensation due to the stadium redevelopment.
I think that some of it has to do with the Jets (A-League).
Whether this issue is still around but I remember when the Knights were upset that the A-League were not paying the Knights for the use of the ground and that the Knights were paying tenancy for them as well. Or something like that but I’m not 100% sure, if you can clear it up I’d appreciate it.
I’m still not sure if the Jets are paying anything to the Knights or what ever the situation is. Again if you can clear that up feel free.
It would really destroy the Knights community if we were not allowed to use this ground. Because I don’t see for what other major events (except for the soccer and the Crusty Demons) that would use the ground.
Plus do you think the Knights will get more people to the game on Sunday when Australian Idol runner-up Jessica Mauboy performs at the ground? I think they did well to secure her services. I’ve heard that she is a big supporter, even though she’s from Darwin.
It no april fools.

The Bears are aiming to come back to the 1st grade in a few years so that would be the central caost team. Unless you live here you can’t understand what kind of passion we have for the Knights. The way the streets were lined with people when they returned from both their premiership wins.

In America, you place liens on their assets and properties. Winning the case gives you that ability.
However, placing liens means almost nothing. Because you only get paid if the assets get sold and since those assets are in bankruptcy court, a judge decides who gets what, who is in line first, etc.
Generally speaking banks are at the head of the line, people like you are at the back of the line. You might get a few pennies from the process.
And no, you can’t garnish future wages. It doesn’t work that way in America. That’s why bankruptcy is a classic tactic to avoid debts in America.

What happens when you declare bankruptcy….?
….after you get sued for building a faulty house for someone. The judge is in favour of the plaintiff, whose house you built. He rules that you must pay them $70,000 to compensate for the cracks in the ceilings & walls and various other mishaps. You then, like a b*tch, file for bankruptcy. Don’t know how to phrase this, but: your claim for bankruptcy is accepted.
Replace the you with defendant. What prompts me to ask this is that the defendant walked out of court saying “You’re not getting one cent” to the plaintiff. Which, for comedic effect, i will add that he got punched in the face :L
Questions:
1) How does the plaintiff get his compensation, in civil law or whatever area of law? Are there alternative ways to gain compensation for this issue other than suing? Obviously the suing did not work out? Like for e.g. in criminal cases you can go to the Victims Compensation Tribunal if suing civilly does not work in your interests.
2) Does the defendant (in bankruptcy) have to sell all his assets and every cent of his future income goes to paying the defendant the compensation? Its only fair..
3) Does he get off scott free?
Thanks in advance Would appreciate it if any lawyers on yahoo could lend a hand in releasing me from confusion and unknowledgability.
