Eagles and Dixie Chicks Tickets - Opening Summer Tour 2010

It's just going to be eight cities, that's all, but that doesn't mean that Eagles and Dixie Chicks fans will be tearing up the Eagles and Dixie Chicks tickets that will be available soon. The eight-city North American tour, which will also see Australian country music star Keith Urban appearing on a few dates, jumpstarts June 8 at Toronto's Rogers Centre. The small collaboration with female trio Dixie Chicks only marks a quarter of the full tour lineup for both. The Eagles continue to promote Long Road out of Eden while two-thirds of the Dixie Chicks, otherwise known as Court Yard Hounds, opened up a jaunt in early May.
Though they'll only be rocking North American stadiums eight times this spring, these players have long established their connection. Three years ago, the Eagles and the Dixie Chicks celebrated the premiere of the Los Angeles Nokia Theatre L.A. The two-date residency concert sold out in record time, prompting four more dates in support of the collaboration. The October 2007 event was the only North American concert date scheduled for both outfits at that time, as the Eagles were just returning to the spotlight to promote their release of Long Road out of Eden and the Dixie Chicks had just finalized their final concert plans.
Now connecting once again, the two couldn't be more than happy to sit across from each other and share the stage. As Natalie says it, the girls are just happy it's on the Eagles' bill. "I love when we get invited on someone else's tour," she laughs, speaking to Access Hollywood. Sharing the interview with Glenn Frey, both musicians joke about working with each other and bandmates after a few years. "It's sort of a reunion between you and your fans, it's not just a reunion of you and your bandmates," Frey adds.
Just three years since their last connection, it seems like the tables have turned. The Eagles have long since established their rock reputation as they continue to support that 2007 album that got them back on track. Long Road out of Eden was a number one Billboard hit when it premiered in October, eventually earning top sales that year. Though the first since 1979's The Long Run, the Eagles have remained in the spotlight not just because of their new hits but because of old ones. Classics like "Hotel California," "Take it Easy," "Tequila Sunrise" and more have continued to get mainstream attention.
Meanwhile, the Dixie Chicks have been shielding rumors that the outfit is splitting after sisters Martie Maguire and Emily Robison formed Court Yard Hounds. Instead, the group has just been taking an indefinite hiatus – one that they are breaking after four years. Previously supporting Taking the Long Way from 2006, an album that earned them five Grammy Awards, the group initially broke off full engagements to focus on families. Now sisters Maguire and Robison, sans outspoken lead singer Natalie Maines, will head off with side project Court Yard Hounds. The duo's debut was released early May to both critical and commercial acclaim.

I’ve been exhausted every single day. So last Friday when I got home I slept for 16 hours straight but had to get waken up to go Prom dress shopping. Almost 4 hours and I found nothing. I don’t even want to go cuz slow dancing is awkward and grinding is crossing way over the line for someone who has a bubble.
Family life at home has been tipsy turvy with my brother in between staying or running off and I’m stuck in the middle telling my mom and bro to chill out. But my other brother will be home from Afghanistan in like 60 days and the next time we see him we’ll be in the Bahamas together at that Atlantis resort. I’m so stoked. Can July come any sooner??
I watched the Titanic last Wednesday cuz I’ve been in such a sappy love phase I guess. Everything made me cry. When Jack was drawing the girl I cried, when Rose was complementing how good Jacks drawings were, when Jack was telling Rose where he came from and what his life was like, when he was drawing Rose I cried when the camera came to the intensity of his eyes, when they were getting drunk and having fun, when Rose set Jack free with the ax, when Rose and Jack grabbed the alone & screaming boy to try and save him I cried. Everything made me effin’ cry. And it wasn’t even PMS! Then when Jack died, which is where i would always cry at as a little girl, I hardly cried. What the hell… I’m pretty sure I was crying because of how loving and passionate the relationship was as if they were soulmates and blahblahblah and how kind Jack was and so understanding and down to earth. Pathetic I know. After I watched it I even wrote a metaphorical love poem about it. yeahhh… and I’m actually watching it right now. Again. hehe
Also watched Avatar,blue-ray. God, I want to be a Na’vi sooo fu3king bad. Did you ever notice how all the guys got nice gluts? Tail sex seems pretty deep man.
I’m trying to learn to yodel. There is no progress what so ever.
Yesterday for JOs, my vball team got second in gold division so that was pretty awesome. I had fun cuz I got to play all around cuz the other setter for the 6-2 never showed up cuz she was hungover from her Prom the night before haha.
I’m trying to learn the soprano sax now, and the guitar. It’s sooo unbelievably confusing since I keep getting the sax messed up with the clarinet. There’s this song I’ve been trying to finish composing and writing for a long time and I’m trying to get on that alon with the song I was thinking of writing for my friend on her birthday. But that might embarrass me to do that. idk.
Then about 2 weeks ago I had a vball team sleep over at one of my close friends houses, for a team bounding thing since this is an off season league and we don’t all know each other well. Anyways, we decided to go to the movie theater to see Hot tub Time Machine (which wasn’t very good besides a few line zingers). So I get there, and whattya know? The guy I stalk, the crazy Polish speaking guy at school! So I went over to say hey boy. Then we get the tickets for the movie, and fu3k karma, here comes the guy that stalks me at school. Seriously, what are the chances?! And I’m the only one that should be stalking, not vice versa.
We finish watching the movie, and go back home. It’s getting late so we decide to prank call. One of my new teammates does the pranking at first, to some random guys at her school. She wasn’t very good at it lol. So the girls starting pushing the phone towards me but I wasn’t ready yet, so I got the Japanese exchange student whose very soft spoken to do it. So we called now Asian strip clubs all the way over in New York so she would start rambling in Japanese. Then we called this one strip club and she continued talking in Japanese but the Strip club receptionist spoke Japanese as well. My Jap. exchange student teammate didn’t know what to say so she just kept saying “wash my dirty windows” in Japanese. So the strip club receptionist started calling her stupid and yelling at her in a really thick Asian accent to stop pretending to speak Japanese. hhaha it was gold. So then we had enough of prank calling strip clubs cuz they are just so dang rude! XD So they shoved the phone in my face being I’m supposedly good at these kinda things and called Live Links and described myself as a heavily accented Russian 26 year old lady who was very “open”, named Dosvedanya. Fuc3ing funniest experience of my life. One of the about 12 guys I called was awesome and had an amazing laugh. I don’t know what to say about it cuz it’s too long a story but everyone fell for the accent calling it sexy and how long I was staying as an exchange college student here cuz thy wanted to meet up. There are some really horney guys on Live Links, wooie.
That’s about all I can think of right now, I’m so tired. I was going to go to bed at 9 pm today but that didn’t happen. It’s past 11:30 pm now. Stupid internet. I need my baby sleep.

My music taste? I guess multi dimensional as dumbasss as that sounds, which is who I am, a dumbass XD. It can be pop, heavy rock, classical, oldies, indie, reggae, screamo, worldly soundtrack, and whatever else there is. I just like music a lot as long as it fits my moods. But mainstream American radio is starting to bother me cuz it has that empty feeling if you know what i’m saying. And sounds all the same.
Currently I’m really into Sonohra(still), and the band Sick Puppies which I just found out about over spring break. Their song “All The Same” is my fav right now. My mood lately. I wouldn’t be surprised if you listened to more languages then me, being you are the junkie nut bucket haha, but then again I’m the freak whose obsessed with linguistics and cultural languages
. German(no brainer ha), Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, Russian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, French, Hungarian, some Swahili, Romanian, Japanese, Chinese(ME! haha, idk if you get that but sorry, couldn’t hold that in XD), and Arabic. I like the languages that represent my ancestry.
I’m so obsessed with this German song that this temporary German worker from Epcot center of Disney World recommended me back in February or January. She was rubbing in how Germany was going to get more medals then the US during the winter olympics which is what the song is all about basically. Trying to find her work address to rub in how I won the bet lol.

Not literally but i felt like asking one of my infamous weird….questions.
Okay so…yesterday was Anzac day (a remembering a war day) & they were doing that march thing they do…& this crazy man hit like…7 of the veterans in his truck while they were marching…..those poor men had to be rushed to hospital & they’re like….102 years old!
Justin Bieber performed on Sunrise (morning show) this morning…that poor little boy. The show got cancelled & 8 girls had to be rushed to hospital cause they got smooshed in the crowd of rabid fan girls. I swear that kid looked terrified when he had to perform inside….the way those chicks were whacking the glass was scaring me & i don’t even like the guys music…That poor little boy would’ve been killed by teenage girls today if there wasn’t like 50 million security guards….they literally pushed the fence stuff over…it might be because that was the only show he was doing in Australia :
I was in the city today (we went to Luna Park) & I really wanted there to be fireworks for some reason…I just wanted to see pretty colours in the sky….but I couldn’t cause it was 3pm…& my friend threw up on one of the rides so we had to go home….but we saw some man on 2 metre tall stilts fall over which was awesome.
