Bedbugs Lice

You May Have Bedbugs in Your Bed! Do You Know What to Look For?
Author: James London-DeVasher
"Night, night.
Sleep tight.
Don't let the bedbugs bite."
This is easier said than done since the tiny six-legged insects, hide during the day and feast on your blood at night.
What Exactly is a Bed Bug?
Although most people believe that the bed bug is tiny (like a flea) the common bedbug is actually quite easy to see with the naked eye. The adult is usually about 0.2 inches long and has a reddish-brown color.
Most people, even those who have an infestation in their home, have never seen a bedbug -- not because they are too small, but because they generally are only active during the wee hours of the morning. The rest of the time they hide down in the mattress or box springs.
Bedbugs also inject an anticoagulant to keep your blood flowing as they feed. This along includes a numbing agent which is why their bites do not wake you.
How Can You Tell if You Have a Bed Bug Problem?
Usually the first sign is on you. You will start to see signs of bites. These appear frequently as small itchy red bumps. Often you will find the lesions in a linear or clustered fashion, indicating that a single bug fed repeatedly at one time.
Because the bites look similar to those of other insects, like fleas and body lice, or even some other skin problems, like scabies it is often difficult to tell that you have a problem with bedbugs.
Other Signs to Look For
Small patches or drops of blood on sheets.
Blood stains and specks on the wall near the bed, where the beds left them as they hid for the day. Insect droppings at the entry to hiding places in furniture crevices and cracks in walls. Some people even report an sickly, sweet odor in the room -- which is caused by bedbugs' oil secretions in heavy infestations.
If you notice any of these signs or think you have a bedbug problem for any other reason, seek help to get rid of them.

Yes it is. I hope you don’t.
If you do, I’d suggest calling an exterminator NOW for the bedbugs, showering and washing with lice shampoo for the lice and getting some flea and tick spray and dousing your house with it.

i would call the health dept. not unless you work for them. they will tell you how to make your life easier. but the best the for the bugs on clothes is drop your clothes at the door and put in a garage bag go directly to the washer use hot water when you can. wash the rest how you can then dry them on high. i guess you should wear clothes that you can wash in hot water. for the itching take bendryl and if you continue i would seek med. help.
for your furniture and bedroom i would spray it regular with lice spray and bomb the rest of the house .oh wash your hair with lice shampoo ever few days when uncertain.
i hope that help you good luck

I found little white bugs w/ a little green, they are not lice, not bedbugs and not mites, what are they?!!!?
I found one crawling on me and then saw like 5-10 on my shirt and looked down at my pillow and saw like 10 more and some on my blanket.. I am freaked out…they are actually mostly green with a little white on them and oval shaped, not nastly looking like some , kind of look like an outside bug off a tree or something…
oh and I looked for pictures of snow fleas and termites and they are definitely not those. they are about the size of a grain of salt to two grains of salt

Cooties, bedbugs, head lice, what works to stop the itch?
Was at my father-in-laws place on the weekend and slept over. Now I’ve got itchy welts on my feet and arms, calamine lotion only goes so far. I changed my sheets and clothes since I came home. What now? thx.

In infested housing, how do I avoid lice, bedbugs, fleas, etc?
I am required to make lengthy home-visits (1 to 4 hours each) to people whose apartments and buildings are badly infested with bedbugs, mice, lice, fleas, cockroaches and unidentified crawling, biting things. I sit on their furniture and sometimes use their bathrooms. What can I do to avoid getting bitten or carrying anything bad home with me? How can I tell if I’ve already brought things home and started an infestation process – and what can I do about it if I have? And besides hot water, which I cannot use on all my clothes, what anti-bug options do I have? Dry-cleaning? Or only the garbage? (I cannot put clothes in the freezer, there is food there!) Are certain clothes best to wear when I go to these apartments? How can I tell if my itching is psychological or if I really “have” something? Also, does using that alcohol-based hand “wash” on my skin as soon as I leave the housing help avoid infestation – and should I also use it on my clothing? I do not wish to insult any of these people by my behavior, for example refusing to sit while we conduct lengthy interviews, or wrapping myself in plastic-wrap, but I guess if that is the best thing to do, I want to know about it. Many thanks!

I have tiny black dots repeatedly appearing on my white bathroom counters. Lice? Bedbugs? What? Help!?
About the size of a grain of salt or smaller. They are foreign objects and I am wondering where they are coming from. after I clean, they quickly appear again. Could they be feces from some kind of parasite? Lice? Bedbugs? Scabies Morgellons? What? Help me! Also, I am getting bites on my body.
