When it comes to an infestation problem, using bed bugs spray in combination with other methods can prove extremely effective. The situation can be exceptionally frustrating to deal with especially when finding bites on your body upon waking up. The following are 3 effective tips to make extermination of these insects easier for you.
1. Identify the source and proceed to vacuum
Chances are, the infestation is coming from your room so if this is the case you will need to vacuum the entire area including your mattress, carpets and furniture. The bugs may be a little hard to see as they blend in well to their surroundings but using a vacuum will help to quickly eliminate them. You may need to move your furniture around so the cracks and crevices in your room are visible.
2. Use a steam cleaner
Bed bugs are extremely vulnerable to heat which is why they cannot survive for very long in hot environments. You can easily use this to your advantage by using a steam cleaner in your room in order to exterminate the insects you may not have gotten from vacuuming. This is also handy to have especially if you plan on doing any traveling.
3. Use a bed bugs spray
For even better results, you can also use an insecticide to also help eliminate the infestation problem. This should be combined with the above two methods for at least several days and even up to a week just to be safe. However, be cautious when using these sprays as prolonged inhalation can cause health risks.
Hiring a professional service can be costly when it comes to extermination but you can easily do this yourself especially if the problem is minor. Using a vacuum, a steam cleaner and bed bugs spray in combination with each other will give the best results. Be sure to keep these factors in mind for effective extermination of these insects.

bed bugs are becoming an epidemic again. i have seen it in the news twice this year and it is mostly affecting the Eastern part of the country right now. Buy a new bed when you get there.

get rid of your mattress or cover in plastic airtight and place leaning against the wall. the bugs should suffocate and die. The problem is you have to sleep on the floor for a few days.

Call the rental board in your area and they will force the landlord to do something or they will tell you to call an exterminator and send him the bill. Either way find the people who regulate renting in your area.

One thing I do when traveling- bring my own sheets, bring a can of aerosol bug repellent to use on the bed and floor around it, and I keep my clothing packed and my suitcase in the bathtub, where bugs can’t get in it. I hope this helps.

Are bed bugs a problem in Rhode Island?
Are bed bugs a problem there? I will be moving there in one month and have heard it is an awful problem in NYC, Boston and Jersey. So is it a real problem in RI as well? Thank you!
I know bed bugs are a problem everywhere. However they are worse ecspecially on the east coast from what I have heard. So I wondered how bad it was in RI.

What can i do to get rid of my bed bugs problem from scratch? What kinds of spray and things will help me?
Please help me!!!! am million percent sure that i have bed bugs problem in my room. what can i do to stop them? is there any trick besides washing sheets and ETC.. what kind of sprays will work? What kind of tricks would do the job….If someone’s trick helped….i promise that person, i will treat him. But please help me…..am very much upset with this stupid thing!

i’m going for vacation with a friend. i know that she had a problem with bed bugs, since we will be sharing a room i dont want to bring the bugs back with me. what can i do??

I got problem with bed bugs. how to get rid of them for ever from the mattress?
we got a problem with bed bugs these days. one day suddenly i got bug bites on my body on 4-5 places and after that almost every day i am finding those bite. I got vexed with those bites. We even called pest control twice, but no use. Is there any other remedy to get rid of t he bed bugs from my mattress for ever? We found only on bed. Rest of the areas are fine.
We threw our ola matress and using new one. still we r having the problem.

I have a serious problem with bed-bugs and my landlord refuses to do anything! Who do I call?
I live in North East Pennsylvania, and have a REALLY bad bed bug infestation. I have dealt with this problem for 3 months now, and I am just sick of it. I need immediate action to exterminate these pests from my house, so I can leave this damn place!
