Vaginal thrush that is also known as candida, vulvovaginal candidiasis or vaginal yeast infection. It is basically a fungal infection which not only resulting in irritation it also swellss up the vagina and vulva.

Interestingly, it is often an outcome of Candida Albicans fungus. Candida is perfectly harmless and it is naturally present in the vagina.
