How to Plan your Luxury Wedding Reception

Wedding reception is always special for newly wedded couples. This event is specially organized to celebrate the union of two special people who are engaged in the sacred union called ‘Marriage’. It is a popular notion that luxury reception has to be elegant & classy. Though, it is a great excuse for having a party and to get reunited with your family & Friends. Yet it is not necessary that it should be a formal party, you can also add some fun in the party too and thus make your reception unique.

So finally, you have decided for reception but now the question arises what to wear for this Grand Occasion? The answer to this question is Formal Attire. For men, wearing tuxedos and dinner suits will give you the manly yet formal look while for Ladies, Ball gowns or Cocktail dresses will give you an elegant yet sexy look. Club it with a nice set of jewelery and finery and see the difference in you look.

You should be very cautious while choosing your wedding Gown. It is a nightmare for a Girl to dress like another woman in the same party. It becomes a very embarrassing situation. Men on the other hand don’t have a deliberate reason to show off their suits and thus they can be more inventive.

Choosing a right dress for the ball room is very difficult task. Be cautious about the color you are wearing. It should not be very loud. Usually for a Ball room or foe evening party the colors preferred are black, red, white. Avoid wearing floral colors in the evening as this would not go with your reception attire. Choose a jewelry or Accessory which go with your dress and compliment your dress. Also be cautious about your footwear. Try a nice pair of heels to give your dress and extra X factor.

At luxury receptions there are often 7 courses of meal. So the dress you should choose should be fit after these courses. Avoid wearing High heels or pinching shoes if your planner has not decided for sit down meal. Otherwise when the party gets over, your feet will be hurt terribly.

Always keep an extra pair of shoes for your reception with which you will look fabulous yet comfortable. Don’t try your luck with those heels on the Dance Floor as you may get down by wearing those heals and hurt yourself. Instead of go for a comfortable shoes which can make your night rock.

Do keep some layering in your dress or take an overcoat as a shiny summer day can turn to chilly in the winter. Also besides your dress and Shoes, do keep care of the guest, after all it’s your party and you are the host of the party. So make your guest comfortable by talking to them and asking them that whether they would like something else.

You can invite a famous band or a Rock band which can rock your party and make your guest left for more and more. Do give Thank you cards to your guests after the party is over as it will show your gratitude towards them.
