How To Get Your Ex Back? Maybe it?s Time to Write That Letter

In this technological age, we humans have found a vast number of ways to communicate (or not communicate) with one another. There’s texting, email, cel phones, fax machines, podcasting, FaceBook, etc. However, there is one thing that all these wonderful technologies lack - the personal touch. I have book written by an author who lives just up the street from me and inside the cover of this book is his personal, handwritten notation and signature. When I look at what he wrote there, it has special significance to me. It was something he was feeling and he wrote it down by hand, from his heart - through his hand - to the page of this book. Would an email stating the exact same thing have the same meaning for me?  Of course not. Because we are human, we crave human contact. Handwritten notes and letters have a special, almost holy significance to us. Because a handwritten note or letter is special, you may want to write a letter if you want to get your ex back or save your relationship.

• The Better, Safer Option of Writing a Letter. Sometimes in relationships with people we love, there are difficulties, hard times, challenges. Sometimes these are from the outside. Sometimes they are from you and your man, just between you as a couple. and when those times come, sometimes it’s hard to talk to that person, or even worse, the communication is just not happening. This is a good time to write a letter and let your man know just how you’re feeling. It’s safer because if you’re not talking, there is no chance it will escalate into a fight - and that can be good for both of you. It may also be easier for you to tell him just how you feel without the emotional stress of a heated argument.

• Make a List, Check it Twice. Find a quiet place, take a pen and pad, get comfortable and start writing things down.  Now you’re going to be writing about things that could make you feel very emotional, so be ready for that. List all the things on your paper, re-check the list to make sure you haven't forgot anything. Now you’re ready to start writing the actual letter.Don’t worry about wording at this point, just say what you mean as clearly as you can.

• Never Write Today What You May Regret Tomorrow. This should be a given, but I’m going to say it anyway. Never, never, never write anything down that you may regret. When you write this letter, set is aside for a day or two OR put a stamp on it and mail it to yourself. Read it again a few days later and if you feel the same way, go ahead and give it to him. If written with love, this letter will go a long way in helping you get your ex back and may save your relationship.

You just might get back with your ex sooner than you think and your relationship could be as fresh and exciting as it was when you first got together.  Or it just might be better!
